Ash was away, far away. But his lover stayed home, alone that is. As much money and authority as she had none of it could take away the emptiness feeling she had when Ash was gone. He was always off cleansing the unclean and whatnot. Tonight she lays in bed with the black silk curtains that usually hide away the moon's natural light at the time of night, wide open. The moon shines in and highlights her tear soaked face. Ash her breathing slows and calms, her tears begin to come to a stop. Her quiet, broken sobs are interrupted by the sound of the office room's phone ringing. As quickly as she can, she hops out of the bed, throws on her robe, and flees to the office room. "Hello?" She answers the phone.

"(Y/N)?"

"Ash?"

"Hi, my love."

"Hi." She replies quietly.

"Have you been crying?" He tells by the small cracks in her voice.

"Yes." She answers truthfully.

"And why is that?"

"I miss you so much, Ash. I just want you to come home."

"I will be home in just 3 short days, my love. I promise. Please, until then do not cry anymore."

"Alright. I won't, I promise."

"Good. Now go get some sleep, darling. I will call you in the morning."

"Okay. Goodnight, Ash. I love you."

"I love you too, (Y/N)." She hangs up the phone and rubs her tired, swollen eyes. She retreats to her bedroom and slips off her robe. She settles into to bed. Her and Ash both know that all she needs when he is not there, is to just hear his voice, when she cannot sleep at night.
